DESCRIPTION:La Poche presents the Amanda Braam Trio. The Amanda Braam trio are a jazz group featuring Amanda on vocals\, Simon Dawes on guitar\, and Aiden Davies on upright bass. Amanda is a singer/songwriter studying music therapy at Wilfrid Laurier University\, and often plays with her indie-folk band “The Paper Cranes”. Simon is a solo artist and drummer in “The Paper Cranes”. He was recently accepted into the University of Toronto to study jazz guitar. Aiden studies upright bass at the University of Guelph\, and performs frequently in the Guelph jazz scene. This year\, the trio won the contest “Jazz For The Ages”\, and performed at Niagara Jazz Festival.
